How It Works
- The charity team building event opens with a powerful introduction with real stories and visuals, showing participants how access to prosthetic care transforms lives and how their teamwork today will help make that possible.
- In groups of 3–5, participants receive a prosthetic hand kit containing all parts, tools and instructions. Our facilitators guide teams as they start the build.
- Working step by step, participants assemble, calibrate and test the device.
- Along the way, playful activities that restrict sight or dexterity simulate real-world limitations, encouraging empathy, adaptability and trust within each team.
- Once complete, each prosthetic hand is placed in a protective case that teams decorate and sign with a heartfelt note to its future recipient.
- Every prosthetic hand is inspected by our technicians and donated through our charity partners to people who have lost a limb in developing countries.
- Your team walks away knowing they’ve built something that will change a life forever. Each prosthetic hand restores independence, confidence and opportunity, enabling recipients to return to work, education or simply enjoy daily life again.

FAQs
The Helping Hand charity team building event is a purpose-driven, hands-on workshop where participants work in small teams to build real prosthetic hands that are donated to people in developing countries who have lost limbs. The Helping Hand charity team building event is perfect for organisations that want to combine team development with CSR initiatives and any teams that want to connect through something meaningful.
Once complete, every prosthetic hand is quality checked by our technicians to ensure it’s safe and functional. The hands are then donated through our charity partners who fit them to people in need at medical clinics. These devices help people without limbs regain the ability to write, eat, work and carry out everyday tasks. After your team building charity activity, we share general distribution updates showing where and how the hands have made an impact.
The prosthetic hand team building activity is fully scalable, accommodating anything from small groups of 2 to large events with over 1,000 participants.
