Event Overview
Children’s play and creativity have no bounds, especially in communities where families face hardship and access to toys is limited. While children’s imagination can turn everyday objects into games, the joy of receiving a special gift made just for them is something truly powerful.
The Charity Toy Build team building activity brings your team together to create thoughtful, personalised gift hampers for children supported by local charities. Working in teams, participants prepare meaningful gifts that include toys, a teddy bear and a heartfelt message, turning a few hours of teamwork into something that will brighten a child’s day.
Guided by our expert facilitators, teams assemble and decorate toys, stuff a teddy bear, and personalise the gifts they create. Each team also writes a message card, adding a personal touch so every hamper feels truly special for the child who receives it. The activity encourages teamwork, creativity and collaboration while giving everyone the chance to contribute to something meaningful.
Once completed, all gifts are carefully checked and donated to local children’s charities, where they are distributed to children who need them most.

How It Works
- The charity team building event begins with an inspiring introduction that connects your team’s efforts to the real impact they’ll have.
- Participants form small teams and take part in a series of fun childhood-themed games designed to energise the group and encourage collaboration, such as:

- Date Order – Teams test their knowledge of classic toys as they attempt to place them in the correct timeline.
- The Price Is Right – A playful guessing game where teams estimate the original prices of iconic toys.
- Popularity Contest – Teams compete to predict which toys became the biggest hits when they first launched.
- Each team receives a toy kit and works together to decorate wooden toys, stuff a teddy bear, design a personalised T-shirt for it, and write a heartfelt message card for the child who will receive the gift.
- All items are carefully placed into a gift basket to create a complete toy package ready for donation.
- Our facilitators inspect each toy and gift set to ensure it is safe, complete and ready to be enjoyed.
