How It Works
- The Charity Knit-a-thon workshop is a one-of-a-kind charity team building activity, held during the Christmas season. It transforms your office, or any venue across the UK into a cosy, creative space filled with chunky yarn, festive spirit and the calming rhythm of knitting.
- Each participant will receive everything they need: hand knitting yarn, chunky wool and essential tools to start crafting cosy winter creations.
- Our expert facilitator will kick things off with a knitting demo, guiding everyone through simple, step-by-step techniques, no needles required.
- Using their fingers to weave and loop the yarn, they’ll quickly create soft, chunky stitches and craft chunky knit blankets, whatever their skill level.
- Throughout the session, guests will be encouraged to personalise their creations by adding decorative touches to blankets, scarves or hats.
- Once complete, every handmade item will be collected, quality-checked and prepared for donation to people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable individuals.
