Event Overview
What looks like rubbish is actually treasure, and with your team, you can give it a second life! In this eco-powered adventure, you’ll embark on a thrilling scavenger hunt, collecting every recyclable item you find. Each piece of litter you gather is donated to our recycling partners, who transform it into beautiful, useful products.
Armed with GPS-enabled iPads, your team will navigate local streets and green spaces, cracking clues, snapping hilarious photos and tackling surprise challenges that bring everyone closer together. The recyclable treasures collected with litter pickers, hi-vis vests and sorting bags will boost your team’s score, and each item gets a second life through repurposing. At the finish line, your haul is weighed, your best moments shared and your impact celebrated. Victory goes to the team with the sharpest strategy, the most hilarious photos and the heaviest bag of recyclables. Each team building scavenger hunt is custom-designed to suit your chosen location, whether it’s a city streetscape or a countryside escape. We also tailor every detail to match your group’s size and preferences.

How It Works
-
- The activity kicks off with a brief introduction about the importance of repurposing and our recycling partners that give recyclable litter a second life.
- Your group will be split into teams, each equipped with an iPad, litter pickers, hi-vis vests, gloves and recycling bags.
- Each iPad is pre-loaded with a GPS map that guides teams to recycling hotspots as part of an interactive scavenger hunt.
- Teams follow scavenger hunt clues to uncover locations and complete tasks.
- Along the way, teams tackle exciting team building challenges to earn points and win the challenge. Team building treasure hunt games and challenges include: photo missions, video challenges, puzzles and riddles.
- Along with the challenges, teams are asked to collect specified recyclable materials (plastic, cans, cardboard and paper).
- All recyclables are returned to the finish line, weighed and recorded for additional points.
- The team with the highest score, earned through both treasure hunt challenges and weight results, will be crowned winners and receive small prizes.
- The collected items are sorted by type—plastic, paper and more—then donated by our team to dedicated recycling partners who specialise in repurposing each material.
