Explore Leeds' Famous Sites and Hidden Gems

While GOTO Events tailor each treasure map to the individual team, we have gathered some great Leeds sites you can include:

  • Kirkgate Market: One of Europe's largest covered markets with fresh produce and street food, the perfect place to pose for pictures.
  • Brewery Wharf: A modern waterfront area with cafes and restaurants, a beautiful location to solve some puzzles.
  • Leeds Art Gallery: A gorgeous Victorian building with some of the most nationally significant 20th-century art, right in Leeds city centre.
  • Leeds Town Hall: Marvel at the Victorian architecture and the 225 feet clock tower while cracking cryptic clues.
  • Elland Road: For some treasure hunting outside of the city centre, the grand Elland Road stadium is a great destination, especially for football fans.
  • Hidden Gems: Leeds is full of intriguing, historic spots, such as the Time Ball Buildings, where a gilded ball would drop every day at 1 PM to help people synchronise their watches and clocks, and the Wagon Lifting Hoist Museum, a 1850 tower which used steam power and large chains to lift railway goods wagons.
