Team Building Events to Kickstart You and Your Team for 2023

Last year many companies were forced to send their workforce home to work remotely. The switch to virtual working was a big challenge for everyone. The things that defined our working day changed. Planned face-to-face meetings were non-existent, conversations at the coffee machine were no more and the thought of only seeing your colleagues on Zoom soon became a reality.

In 2020 employee engagement levels decreased globally by two percent to 20% in 2020. Team building events and activities have never been as important as they are now. They are the perfect way to bring everyone back together be that virtually or physically.

1. Under Pressure

One of our most popular team-building events for 2023, packed full of head-to-head challenges that will not only test your teams’ skills but also your nerves. Our Under Pressure event works for small and large teams that are looking for something different.

2. Masterpiece

Masterpiece is an exciting challenge that encourages teams to get those creative juices flowing in order to create a giant-size masterpiece of a chosen artwork. Teams will need to complete a range of mini-puzzles, mental, visual, logical quizzes to win money to spend in the shop. At the end of the session, the individual canvases will be joined together to create the chosen artwork. If you’re looking for an event in 2023 that is a little different, but full of challenges then this is the one for you.

3. Quid Games

New for 2022, this team-building activity based on the popular Netflix series Squid Games,  will test communication, problem-solving, creative thinking, and patience. Unlike the TV series, Quid Games will see teams working together instead of against each other in a selection of children’s inspired games.

4. Rollercoaster Tycoon

Time to hit the theme park for this amazing creative activity! Your challenge is to build a working rollercoaster for a ball to travel along for at least 45 seconds. The ball must travel via its own kinetic motion and flow through several thrilling twists and turns. Teams have to work together towards one common goal, which is the overall structure.

5. Master of the Tasks

Inspired by the popular TV show, our Master of the Tasks challenges teams with a hilarious selection of games that will literally have you rolling on the floor. The games which come in all shapes and sizes are only revealed when teams open each golden challenge envelope. You’re bound to be talking about this event throughout 2023.

1. Virtual Murder Mystery

A great virtual event to get your teeth into in 2023. You have been brought in to investigate a murder that has happened at Cadaver Manor. You and your team will need to unlock key evidence such as interviews from suspects and examining witness statements. Using augmented reality and image recognition technology, will you be able to solve the murder?

2. Virtual Horse Racing

This virtual event will give you the aesthetic of being at races but from the comfort of your own home. Using ‘fun money’ and our themed race programme, you will be guided through the racing action. We can run this activity with individuals or teams, going head-to-head to study the form, gamble on the right nags, and ultimately with the most money. Will you be the ultimate race winner of 2023?

3. Virtual Musical Bingo

Imagine bingo but with more fun! Instead of numbers being called out, songs are played by a live band, DJ, or a pre-recorded set. Each round is based on a different theme of music and song choices, so they’ll be a genre and are for everyone. As per the real game, there are prizes for two & three lines as well as the full house.

4. Virtual Cocktail Making

Guided by our virtual mixologists, they will demonstrate before you try some very cool techniques virtually on how to mix and flair some very tasty cocktails or mocktails. In advance, guests will receive a pre-event pack including all the ingredients they will need to create their cocktail selection.

5. Virtual Cooking Events

We host a variety of virtual cooking events and experiences that are designed for you to learn new skills and create amazing dishes that you can create over and over again. Each participant will receive a pre-event pack, which will contain all the ingredients needed to create their culinary delights. With so many cooking event options to choose from, will you become the Mary Berry of 2023?

1. Crystal Challenge

This is one of our most popular outdoor events and experience. Hosted by our energetic host, in teams, you will have to compete in a mix of activities dashing between Aztec, Medieval, Industrial and Futuristic zones, to win those important crystals and seconds in the final dome.

2. Soapbox Derby

Soap Box Derby is a hilarious activity that brings out the best in people.  This is our very own, slightly tamed-down version of the race hosted by Redbull, seeing teams plan, design, and build the ultimate wacky racer. There are several heats all based around teams’ creativity and innovation.  The design will earn you as many points as taking the chequered flag! Can you be the ultimate wacky racer?

3.  Totally Wipedout

This is an inflatable dream! Based on the famous TV show, this outdoor team building event features the big red balls, inflatable assault courses, and even a giant wrecking ball! Everything is head-to-head, so competition is rife.   Teams will compete in a variety of unique games, fighting it out to get the winning times and points, and as we normally expect, a fair bit of cheating and sabotage. A perfect outdoor event if you’re looking for something competitive and fun in 2023.

4. Survival Island

Your team has been stranded on a remote island with no signs of civilisation.  All you have is what you have scavenged from the beach.  Using your initiatives and the skills we’re about to teach you, can you take on and survive ‘The Island’? Each survival task is designed to involve every team member.  Using what nature has to offer, teams must draw upon resourcefulness and ingenuity, whilst applying the core skills of teamwork. If you want to discover your teams’ skills that they didn’t even know they had in 2023, then this team-building activity is for you.

5. Around the World

Welcome to Around the World in 8 games! A fantastic day packed full of fun, excitement, and hilarity that will see your guests split into teams to compete head-to-head on a range of brilliant team-building activities to see who will come out victorious!
