Go on a journey with your team, exploring and showing off your knowledge of countries from around the world. Visit the vibrant streets of Buenos Aires, the historic Great Wall of China and the artistically-influential Paris. Get ready for a fast-paced team adventure where strategy, teamwork, creativity and general knowledge are put to the test!
In this fast-paced, strategic corporate event, you will be given an iPad equipped with a map and challenges for your team to complete. Race to visit as many countries as you can treasure hunt-style, complete country-specific tasks and try to beat the other teams while the clock is ticking!

How It Works
- Teams will be briefed by the Event Manager before receiving a team iPad, loaded with our interactive event app. Teams create their team name and selfie, then their map unlocks and the race begins!
- The map starts with around 8–10 country checkpoints, each offering a range of questions and challenges to earn points. These could include picture and video challenges, country-specific tasks and general knowledge questions.
- Teams have complete freedom to choose which checkpoints they visit, meaning strategy is key.
- Halfway through the event, new countries and checkpoints will be added, giving teams fresh opportunities to score.
- Every 25 minutes, a surprise Hotspot will appear on the map for just 5 minutes. These Hotspots feature higher-value challenges, with extra points for the first teams to arrive. An Event Manager will also be there with a book for teams to sign, creating a fun keepsake for your company. Miss the 5-minute window, and the points are gone!
- Points are scored throughout the event, but the leaderboard remains hidden until everyone returns. Once the iPads are handed back, we'll reveal the final scores with a fun presentation showcasing what teams have been getting up to. Prizes are awarded to the top three teams: 🥇 1st Place: Medal & bottle of bubbly🥈 2nd Place: Medal🥉 3rd Place: Medal.

Race Around the World is suitable to both small and large groups, as we can tailor the event to any group size between 10 and 1000 participants.
Each Race Around the World event is designed to your specific location, and while it often takes place outdoors, a large office, hotel or conference space can work just as well.
For the Race Around the World team building event to work optimally, we recommend a duration of approximately 2 to 3 hours, as participants need to move from location to location and complete a range of challenges. However, it can be tailored to your schedule.
