How It Works
- Each team gets an allocated pit stop garage, a basic pedal-powered cart, a tool kit and limited design materials.
- After sketching up your initial designs, it's time to go head-in-head in some hilarious challenges to win all kinds of parts and materials to build your carts and dress your racers!
- Now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and bring your vision to life as you build the ultimate, most unique soap box cart!
- When the carts are complete, drivers take their seats in the parade lap to show off their inventions.
- Next, it’s over to the MOT station to pass the safety checks.
- Following several soap box racing heats, all racers line up on the grid and it’s pedal to the metal for the final laps around the crazy course.
- The race points are added to the judges’ points awarded for innovation, teamwork, creativity, best-dressed driver and overall best design.
- With the winners announced, teams step up onto the podium to receive their medals and bubbly. Be warned though, this is normally sprayed over the crowd, in true F1-winning-style!

What happens on the day?
Your event starts with the outdoor space transformed with an array of Quintessentially English activities.
The event begins with our team organising everyone in their teams, a briefing on the event, and a quick health & safety briefing.
The teams are then sent to complete their first activity head to head against an opposing team! Each activity is hosted by one of our event staff, who will make sure everyone understands the rules (and make sure there’s no cheating!). After the rotation, the teams move on to their next activity. Once all activities have been completed, it’s time for the tug of war finale!
All scores are then totalled to find our champions!
The top 3 are announced. The bronze and silver medals are given out to the respective teams and the winning team receives some gold medals and a bottle of bubbly!

How It Works
- Your group will be divided into teams, and each team will be equipped with an iPad.
- Each iPad is pre-loaded with a dedicated GPS map that’s fully interactive and displaying the real-time location of the teams.
- Teams move from location to location, guided by the map and the enigmatic clues.
- When you reach each correct location, your iPad will reveal a mystery challenge on the screen. Complete these challenges to rack up points and dominate the leader board!
