With generative AI, robotics, predictive systems and immersive tech transforming the modern workplace, this hands-on team building activity gives your team a fun introduction to the technology shaping tomorrow. But don’t worry, you won’t need a computer science degree or any experience to take part!
Each team receives their very own AI-powered, laser-enabled, omnidirectional robot, and then rotates through cutting-edge tech stations including coding challenges, augmented reality tasks, virtual reality experiences and eye-tracking missions.
And then… it’s battle time. Race your robot around a giant inflatable circuit. Take corners tight. Avoid laser fire. Or slow your rivals down with perfectly timed shots of your own. Strategy, teamwork and quick thinking will decide who takes the podium.

How It Works
- The AI Robot Wars team building event kicks off with a high-energy introduction to AI, robotics and emerging tech, setting the tone for the challenge ahead.
- Teams of 6–12 participants are assigned their AI robot and briefed on their mission. Naming your robot is just the beginning.
- Groups rotate through immersive tech stations where they gather code, solve challenges and unlock upgrades to improve their robot’s performance.
- At base control, teammates test and refine programming using simple, beginner-friendly coding systems. You’ll see your instructions come to life in real time.
- Points are awarded based on accuracy, efficiency and teamwork. Stronger performance means pole position in the final showdown.
- The competition culminates in the Robot Wars Grand Prix Finale. Teams race head-to-head around a purpose-built track. But this is no ordinary race. Robots can fire and register laser hits, allowing teams to tactically slow down opponents while defending their lead.
- After heats, semi-finals and an epic final race, winners are crowned in a lively awards ceremony.
